Once you meet with Dumbledore, he will task you with collecting the missing pieces of Professor Slughorn's tampered memories. Thankfully you already solved most of the stair puzzles last time you visited Dumbledore, so the only one you need to solve again is on the very last flight, where you and another member of your team need to cast a charm on the tassels at the end of the hall at the same time.

Once you have destroyed the last statue, you will have successfully unlocked Reducto and are free to leave the classroom.įollow Nearly Headless Nick up the stairs toward Dumbledore's office.
The fifth statue is up on the next level, which you can reach by going up the red Diffindo escalator you made in one of your past charms classes. The first three are along the back wall of the classroom, and the fourth is at the front of the class by the Professor. All you need to do is destroy all five statues around the room with the spell. Reducto is one of the quickest spells to unlock. Follow Nearly Headless Nick to find your way to charms class and unlock the last spell on your spell wheel, Reducto. After an awful Christmas celebration at the Weasleys, Harry, Ron, and Hermione find themselves back at Hogwarts Castle once again.
